The unit offers RAID 0 (Striping) and RAID 1 (Mirroring) and is equipped with the industry's best Oxford chipset, which is approved by many professional Audio/Video hardware and software manufacturers for high-end media production.

The unit can be powered using FireWire bus power or the included AC power adapter. An HDD spin-down feature ensures efficient operation by reducing power consumption. When your computer enters sleep mode, the hard drive spins down to minimize power consumption. Critical parameters such as HDD temperature can be monitored easily with the help of the LCD display.
